SigLite® LCD 1x5 is Topaz's lower-cost, pressure-sensitive LCD (4.4”W x 1.3"L) electronic signature pad that displays "electronic ink" under the pen tip during signing. It features all the high-quality biometric and forensic capture techniques of a SignatureGem® LCD pad but with a lower-cost touchscreen and stylus in place of the more durable LCD tempered glass surface and digitizing pen.
The included special pen and the sensor guarantee an outstanding quality of signature capture on the pad - with the exceptional feature that the movements of the pen in the air are also recorded. This special pen, which is battery-free and has a replaceable tip, records 1,024 pressure levels and transmits the signature at a rate of up to 500 Hz. Due to the robust construction of the sensor, a very long lifetime of approximately 30 million signatures can be achieved.
